Security of Data and Back-up Protocol

White Fluffy Cloud Limited a UK based company (registration number 7960198, whose registered office is located at 10 Bath Road, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN1 4BA). We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration number Z3134952) as a data processor.


As a data processor, it is YOUR data; we are just processing it on your behalf. 

We ensure that our service and the way we run it adheres to the principles established in the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), specifically in relation to data security.

The service is run from within former military command and control stations, located outside of the M25 – and is considered one of Europe’s most secure data centres – protected by integrated processes for physical, digital and human security.


We protect our infrastructure with state-of-the art unified threat management systems, to prevent unauthorised access to our service.  Access to the service is via 256-bit SSL encryption.  All client data is mirrored and backed up to ensure that in if the worst happens you still have your data.


We have 24 hour a day / 7 day a week online help, we operate a telephone-based support desk which is available on workdays between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. and if you have an urgent issue outside of these hours you can contact us via email.


Rest assured your data will be held using the most up to date, data encrypted security which meets all European Regulation for data protection.

The cloud allows both flexibility and security without the need to worry about hardware failure and expense. You will get ongoing updates as part of your package keeping your data as safe as possible.

Our system is built around the most current regulation including GDPR and can easily cope with regulations you may have for Financial Conduct Authority or other. 

Our technology will record all communications both written and verbal with your clients so that you will have a well-ordered history of what was agreed and why.  Please ask our team to discuss any of the above further. 

How long is my data backed up for? 

We keep data backed up all the time.  

Daily backups are taken for at least 6 months which then move into weekly backups for at least 3 years and then backups are done monthly thereafter.

Backups are regularly tested (monthly) to ensure the integrity of the backup process and to make sure that they are suitable to recover operations should the need ever arise.
