Why do I need to split out First Name and Last Name in my data import sheet?
It is important to ensure that the First Name and Last Name get populated into the correct part of a contact record when you are uploading data and not merged into one field other wise if you want to do mail-merge or customised emails it will pull out both the first name and last name.
It is better to have Dear John rather Dear John Smith.
How do I do this?
1. Simply change the data field heading in the import sheet to FirstName_LastName - see example below.
2. This will split the first name and last name as it gets uploaded into your CRM account automatically for you.
