Did you know that you can change the display names which come through to the phone – e.g. where at present you may have a colleague calling you and it displays their extension number you can change this to show their name instead, for example 'Sarah' or if a department it could be called 'Accounts'


Please follow the steps below to set this up:

1. Go to the Phone section inside your CRM account:



2. Click on the Phone icon



3. This takes you to the Line summary page and where you see the display name – click the associated ‘Configure’ button on the right.



4. Then when you are in the ‘Configure VoIP Number’ screen – just update the Display Name to what you want displayed.



5. Click on Update button when finished to save.




This display name will then be used when calls are transferred internally.
