Make sure your email template you have created has an email address in the Senders Email field located on the top right hand side – so that it can recognise your email address, as shown below:

You can change the sender email address later if you want it to show a different email address on the final version of the email.

You can only send to one email address at a time when sending a test email.  

It might be that you have by mistake unsubscribed from your own e-Marketing which is another reason why you might not be able to receive a test email.

Your email server could also have blocked you receiving emails from your senders address - if so you will need to get the email address unblocked.  

Another alternative is to send your test email to another email address that you use.
