If you are using a Gigaset Desk phone with a VoIP line correctly set up (registered on the phone) and you find that your VoIP line when dialled is not ringing on your Desk phone please check the following:


Please check that your VoIP line can receive incoming calls if you put the line on divert to another number such as a landline or mobile number?


If the line diverts correctly then we know that the VoIP line is working correctly.   Please click here to see how to divert your VoIP line. 


Have you checked you have connected your phone equipment correct - for instance have you connected your Desk phone correctly to your router?  Click here to see how.


Please check the connections and if necessary re-boot the router and the phone - disconnecting all cables and then re-connecting to then establish a network connection on the phone. 


This is most likely a network issue which will require you to disable the SIP ALG setting on your router, please click here for further guidance. 


Please can you check that DHCP is enabled on your router. 


Check if you took the phone home does the phone work when connected to another network?  


It could be an issue with the networks firewall blocking the VoIP traffic on the network.   Check that ports 5060 and 5065 are open on the firewall.
